UPDATE: 12:35pm Elm Street has been re-opened. Please continue to use caution of all streets and roads in the City of Commerce. Water Main Break at Railroad Tracks in front of Pinnacle Bank on Elm Street. Avoid this area from Jefferson Rd at light to Central Ave at light downtown. GDOT has been notified, Railroad has been notified. Crews are on sight working to repair the issue.

The Downtown Development Authority and Civic Center Tourism meeting AND the Planning Commission meeting has been cancelled due to inclement weather road conditions. These meetings will be rescheduled for the February 23, 2026 date.

We are less than 24 hours away from a significant ice storm. The National Weather Service has issued an Ice Storm Warning from Saturday at 1:00pm through Monday morning.
